Fire Explorer Program
For ages 14 to 20, this program offers hands-on fire service experience, leadership training, and a ride-along. Meetings are twice a month. Apply year-round; recruitment starts in early 2026. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA and pass an interview and agility test.

Join Chino Valley Fire for its annual Open House on May 3, 2025! Meet firefighters, tour the station, see fire engines, enjoy live demos, and learn safety tips. Kids can enjoy fun, interactive activities and learn about fire safety.

Volunteer Reserve Fire Inspectors
Chino Valley Fire has a volunteer Reserve Fire Inspector program. The program provides training and experience in the various duties of a fire inspector, including construction-related inspections, fire and life safety inspections, fire code operational permits, and public education and outreach.
