Biography
Board Member Sarah Ramos-Evinger has been a board member of the Chino Valley Fire District since 2009. She has served as President and Vice President of the Board of Directors.
Before joining the Chino Valley Fire District Board of Directors, Sarah served for over eight years as a board member for the Chino Valley Fire Foundation. The Chino Valley Fire Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting life, safety, and the welfare of the public through educational programs, direct assistance, and financial support of charitable organizations, victims of tragic events, and injured firefighters.
Sarah also volunteered for many other Fire District programs, such as the Spark of Love Toy Drive and the Make a Child Smile Program.
Sarah has been involved in many Chino Valley community activities, such as the Spanish Trails Girl Scouts, Chino Hills Little League, AYSO, and local Chino Hills schools.
In 2005, Sarah received the Fred L. Burns Community Service Award. The award was established by the Chino Valley Fire District Board of Directors to recognize an individual who has made a significant contribution to the Chino Valley Fire District in the area of furthering the District's Mission Statement and/or who has made a significant contribution to the Chino Valley Community in the area of community service in support of public safety.
Receiving this award reflects the recipient's dedication and commitment to fire and life safety education within the Chino Valley.
Sarah has also been recognized by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and was presented with a Top Volunteer Award for her dedicated service.
