Vice-President Mike Kreeger resides in the City of Chino Hills with his wife Melynda. They have two children, Samantha and Matthew.
Vice-President Kreeger grew up in the City of Brea and attended Sonora High School. He attended Cal State Long Beach where he majored in Sociology. President Kreeger also attended and graduated from the Long Beach Police Academy.
Vice-President Kreeger has worked as a Commercial Insurance Broker for 13 years; owned his own business for 6 years; and is currently employed by Wells Fargo Insurance Services in Risk Management.
President Kreeger has also served as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for 17 years.
Vice-President Kreeger is an active volunteer and has served with the City of Chino Hills as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner, a Public Works Commissioner, and a Committee Member for Chino Hills Day at the Fair.
President Kreeger has also served on the San Bernardino County General Plan Advisory Commission, the Chino Valley Unified School District Measure M Committee, the School District’s Construction Bond Oversight Committee, and the School District’s 7-11 Surplus Land Committee.
He has also served as Principal for a Day, as well as classroom volunteer and PTA Member at Butterfield Ranch Elementary School. President Kreeger has also volunteered for AYSO as a Coach, Assistant Coach, and a Referee. He has also volunteered for the La Habra United Methodist Church as a Trustee, a Preschool Board Member, Church Council Representative, Audio Visual Tech for the Worship Team, and an Advisory Team Member for the Youth Ministry.
Vice-President Kreeger was recognized as Volunteer of the Quarter in the Spring of 2012, for the City of Chino Hills. He was also selected as the Reserve of the Year in 1999 and received the Commander’s Award from the San Bernardino County Sheriff. He was also recognized as the Layperson of the Year in 2006 from the La Habra United Methodist Church.
In his personal life, President Kreeger enjoys camping at the beach with his family and spending time at the family cabin in Lake Arrowhead.
