The Chino Valley Fire District is located in the southwest region of San Bernardino County. The District's jurisdiction covers approximately 80 square miles in size and has an estimated population of 173,000. It is estimated that the Fire District population will be over 200,000 within the next 20 years. The Cities of Chino, Chino Hills, and surrounding unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County are served by the Fire District. Personnel responded to over 10,000 emergency incidents last year.
The Fire District is bordered by Los Angeles County to the northwest; Orange County to the southwest; Riverside County to the southeast; the City of Ontario to the northeast and the City of Montclair to the north.
