JEFF LOPEZ

ENGINEER

 

Jeff Lopez began his career with Chino Valley Fire in 1994 as a Student Worker.  He became a Reserve Firefighter in 1995 and a Firefighter in 1996.  Jeff received his Paramedic ranking in 2000 after completing his Paramedic schooling at Crafton Hills College.  In December 2007, Jeff was promoted to Engineer.

 

Jeff was born in Montebello, California and grew up in Chino Hills.  He attended Mount San Antonio College and earned his Associate of Science degree in Fire Technology.

 

Jeff has served as an Explorer Advisor, an Explorer Post Lead Advisor, a NEAT (Neighborhood Emergency Action Team) Instructor, a First Aid/CPR Instructor, a C.H.I.E.F.S.' Explorer Competition Event Planner, and Urban Search and Rescue Team Member, a Paramedic Preceptor, and a Safety Gear Committee Member.

 

In his personal life, Jeff and his wife of seven years, Kimberlee, have two sons Jayden and Luke.  Jeff enjoys surfing, camping and boating. 

 

Jeff is currently assigned to Station 66, in the City of Chino Hills.
