Introduction

The Administrative Section of the Chino Valley Independent Fire District is housed in temporary quarters at 2005 N. Grand Ave., Chino Hills. Upon completion of the new civic center for the City of Chino Hills, in approximately 1 - 1 1/2 years, The Chino Valley Independent Fire District is planning to share space in this new facility.

Fire District Administration is responsible for the daily activities, both emergency and non-emergency district wide. From public education displays, fire extinguisher demonstrations, CPR instruction, emergency fire and medical aid responses, the Fire District is here, ready to help. Last year alone, the District responded to just under 8,200 emergency calls for service.

Led by Fire Chief Paul Benson, Deputy Chief Kirk Summers is in charge of District Operations and Deputy Chief Greg Turner (Fire Marshal) is in charge of Fire Prevention.
