Fire Suppression The Chino Valley Independent Fire District Operations Division oversees the day-to-day emergency operations for the District, responding out of six fire stations located strategically throughout the District.
Operating on three shifts (A, B, C), the suppression staff work a 48/96 hour schedule (48 hours on-duty, followed by 96 hours off-duty). Responding on six (6) Medic Engines, one (1) Ladder Truck and a shift Battalion Chief, this compliment of 29 personnel provide emergency and non-emergency responses for the District approximately 8,100 times per year.
Current staffing configurations will find four-person Medic Engines and Truck Company.
Along with the emergency and non-emergency responses, the Operations Division also oversees the District's fleet maintenance program, Fire Explorer program, Auxiliary Workers, EMS Coordinator, Training Officer and recently hired part-time Medical Director.
