Fire Suppression

Current staffing configurations will find four-person Medic Engines and Truck Company.

Along with the emergency and non-emergency responses, the Operations Division also oversees the District's fleet maintenance program, Fire Explorer program, Auxiliary Workers, EMS Coordinator, Training Officer and recently hired part-time Medical Director.

It is because of the dedication and hard work ethic of all our District employees that we enjoy such positive support from the communities we serve.

The Chino Valley Independent Fire District Operations Division oversees the day-to-day emergency operations for the District, responding out of six fire stations located strategically throughout the District.

Operating on three shifts (A, B, C), the suppression staff work a 48/96 hour schedule (48 hours on-duty, followed by 96 hours off-duty). Responding on six (6) Medic Engines, one (1) Ladder Truck and a shift Battalion Chief, this compliment of 29 personnel provide emergency and non-emergency responses for the District approximately 9,000 times per year.
