Fire District Goals 20091) Finalize the facility funding and construction agreement with the City of Chino and work with the City to award the bid and begin construction of new Station 1, new Fire Station 7, and the Training Facility in 2009.
2) Negotiate a successor MOU with the Chino Valley Professional Firefighters.
3) Continue to review and update the Fire Districts’ Information Technology Plan to include financial, personnel, and permit processing software.
4) Update the Fire District Fee Schedule for Board adoption and implementation on July 1, 2009.
5) Work with the cities of Chino and Chino Hills to develop and adopt a resolution for year-round weed abatement within the Fire District.
6) Research and prepare plans and recommendations for dual use of the Fire Administration classroom and as Department Emergency Operations Center.
7) Conduct workshops with the cities of Chino and Chino Hills to update the Fire District Master Plan.
8) Work with the Cities of Chino and Chino Hills to increase community awareness of the Fire District services, programs and activities.
