Fire District Goals 2007

1)  Receive and adopt the Standards of Deployment Study, adopt and implement additional performance measures, and conduct workshops with both cities.

2)  Begin construction and manage the new Fire Administration facility with a target occupancy date of June 2008.

3)  Complete land acquisition, finalize funding and design, and work with the City of Chino to award bid for construction of new Station 7 and the Training Facility at 4th Street and Schaefer Avenue.

4)  With the City of Chino, finalize funding, design and timing for the relocation of Station 1 to Ross and Riverside Avenue.

5)  Review and update the District’s Long Range Personnel Plan to include recommendations from the Standard of Cover Deployment Study.

6) In view of current issues in the media regarding other agencies, the District will proactively conduct a Risk Management review, and update if needed, to include anti-hazing policies and training.

7)  Update the District’s Long Range Financial Plan.
