PermitsThe following activities must be submitted for Fire District review and permit:
- Commercial or residential construction
- Storage, use and handling of flammable, combustible, explosive, toxic or other hazardous materials
- Recreational fires or open burning
- Special or seasonal event (i.e. sales, carnivals, fairs, rodeos, tree lots, parades)
The above is not inclusive of all activities requiring a Fire District permit. Contact the Fire Prevention Division at (909) 902-5280 to determine what is necessary for a specific project, event or business.
Applications, plans and fees for a permit by the Fire District must be submitted separately from the Cities of Chino and Chino Hills and portions of the County of San Bernardino.
The Fire District utilizes the 2000 Uniform Fire Code, 2001 California Fire Code, Fire District Standards and all applicable statutes, codes and ordinances.
